This wonderful Street Fashion Blog, reporting on the "quirky, charming and individualistic fashion sense of young New York", publishes more and more pics of highly charming and definitely individualistic venturesome male New Yorkers who dare to "show up in skirts".
The traditional tartan kilt (unorthodoxly worn, I've been explained by some experts) above is coupled with an unconventional and not too Scottish fringed bag and unlaced shoes.
On the other hand, Gabe from Los Angeles (below) chose a plain black skirt.
Both decorated their handbags with a furry tail, and both wear their shoes unlaced (although they came from the opposite coasts, Katy Moorman points out in her blog).
Is there some fashion trend I'm unaware of?
